Families need your help.
Join the thousands of people who volunteer with us each year.
At Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan, we welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, experiences, skills, and stages of life. Fulfilling volunteer experiences begin with matching your skills and passions with our volunteer opportunities.
Whether you’re an individual, corporate team, community group, or a small group of friends – assisting at events, picking up a hammer, or helping out at the ReStore, there are many different ways for you to volunteer. Being a volunteer means you are an integral part of what we do and how we do it.
With your help, whole neighborhoods improve and completely transform. Through this transformation, families can overcome the barriers that so often exist between their families and better, healthier, and more financially stable lives. We believe everyone has the skills to contribute, and we will work with you to find the right opportunity!
Volunteer today to help us build a better future in our community!

Habitat Saskatchewan ReStores are located in Regina, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon. Habitat ReStores exist to generate revenue to help build homes for more families across Saskatchewan. You will work with a team of passionate people who believe in the Habitat mission to build affordable homes for local families.
While volunteering here you’re likely to find yourself performing duties like merchandising products, general cleaning, moving items, engaging with customers, and helping folks with their cherished donations.
“As a volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity Restore I realized what a great resource the Restore is for businesses and residence of Saskatoon. Also it was a great experience for my teenage daughter and provided the volunteer hours she needed for a class assignment. I enjoy spending volunteer hours at the Restore, it is rewarding work, the hours just fly by, and the staff are hardworking and friendly. I would encourage everyone to volunteer if you can, it provides great work experience in a hardware retail environment”
“I have volunteered with many different organizations over the years in many different roles but Habitat for Humanity does have a special place in my philanthropic heart. As someone that has very little experience on a job site it is very rewarding to learn new skills, get a chance to run power equipment, swing a hammer, and help to raise a wall in a new home. To see a new build and to know you were even a small part of it is very rewarding. I find inspiration in learning about the families who we are building for. ”
“Our team took part in a build for a day in the summer of 2016. We are still talking about what a great experience it was! Max, the construction supervisor, was so patient and easy-going…especially for those of us who are certainly not comfortable with power tools! The day was filled with a ton of laughs and some great opportunities to get to know each other outside of the office. I would highly recommend volunteering for a Build Day to any business…it’s a fun a rewarding way to give back to the community!”
