When you choose to volunteer at the ReStore
Habitat Saskatchewan ReStores are located in Regina, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon. Habitat ReStores exist to generate revenue to help build homes for more families across Saskatchewan. You will work with a team of passionate people who believe in the Habitat mission to build affordable homes for local families.
While volunteering here you’re likely to find yourself performing duties like merchandising products, general cleaning, moving items, engaging with customers, and helping folks with their cherished donations.

Our team building opportunities offer your organization a chance to invest in your employees while making a real difference in the lives of hard-working families and their communities.
Our ReStores can accommodate individuals and groups of any size, and will customize tasks to best suit the capabilities of the volunteer group. Volunteer opportunities include customer service, stocking shelves, tidying the store, cleaning donations, building and moving furniture, and testing donations.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of volunteer opportunties are available?
As of September 2025, the only volunteer opportunity that is currently available is at your local ReStore. At the ReStore, you may help with tasks such as sorting and pricing donated items, organizing displays, cleaning the store or yard, or assembling and repairing products. Your specific duties will depend on your skills and the store’s needs that day, and will be assigned at the discretion of the ReStore Manager.
We do not currently have any active build sites and are therefore not accepting build-site volunteers at this time.
What is the time commitment for volunteering?
How much time you would like to volunteer is completely up to you! Some volunteers may commit to a full day, while others may contribute a just few hours each shift. We appreciate any time you can dedicate to helping out our organization.
What is the age requirement for volunteering?
The age requirement to become a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan is 16.
