Driving Change: Nissan Canada Foundation Donates Vehicle to Habitat Saskatchewan
In a remarkable display of community support, Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan has received a brand new 2024 Nissan Pathfinder from the Nissan Canada Foundation.
This donation marks a significant milestone for Habitat Saskatchewan, as it is the first time the organization will have a dedicated company vehicle. The new Pathfinder will greatly enhance the organization’s ability to serve more families across the province by reducing transportation costs and increasing efficiency.
The vehicle was awarded through an annual grant program available to local Habitats across Canada, and the donation underscores the long-standing partnership between Habitat for Humanity Canada and Nissan Canada Foundation. To date, the foundation has donated over $3.4 million and contributed more than 11,000 volunteer hours to Habitat projects across the country.
A media event was held on August 7, 2024, at Moose Jaw Nissan to unveil the vehicle, with enthusiastic remarks from both Habitat Saskatchewan’s CEO Dave McEachern and Tara Willis, Senior Manager of DEI and Philanthropy at Nissan Canada Inc.
