Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan’s Latest Projects in Regina
We’re so excited to share some incredible news—our shovels hit the ground in November for two brand-new Habitat homes in Regina! These homes represent not just bricks and mortar but a fresh start for two hardworking families in our community.
Building Together, One Step at a Time
Once again, we’re teaming up with Fiorante Homes to bring these houses to life. Fiorante has been a fantastic partner, and we’re grateful for their continued commitment to creating quality homes for families in Regina. Another special shoutout to WF Botkin Construction for donating all the concrete for these builds. It’s partnerships like these that make our work possible, and we can’t thank them enough for their generosity.
What Affordable Homeownership Means
For many families, the dream of owning a home feels out of reach—especially with today’s housing crisis. That’s where Habitat comes in. Our affordable Homeownership Program offers families the opportunity to purchase a home at fair market value with no down payment and an interest-free mortgage. Families pay just 25% of their gross income toward their mortgage, making homeownership manageable and sustainable.
But it’s about so much more than finances. A safe, stable home gives kids the foundation to thrive in school, helps parents focus on building their futures, and strengthens entire neighborhoods. These two new homes in Regina will do just that—create opportunities and stability for families who’ve worked hard to build a brighter future.
